Beer Review #27

 Pale Ale
5% Alcohol/Volume
Okanagan Springs
American Pale Ale

Appearance: Hits the glass a rich copper color, with a thin lasting ring of head.  A nice clear beer. Smells like something sweet, but cant exactly identify what.
Score 3.5/5

Taste: The first taste is sweet but fleeting, works to a buttery and smooth beer. Overall it is a fairly plain beer.
Score 2.5/5

Mouthfeel: It is a nice soft, light beer. I like the fact that the beer doesn't finish super dry. I did find it a little bitter, but after the beer warms the bitterness leaves.
Score 2.5/5

Beer Type: American Pale Ales are meant to have malt and hops in balance, with fruity esters all the while being a clean beer. Okanagan Springs Pale Ale is a fair representation of an average American Pale Ale.
Score 3/5

Drinkability: I don think this one would be a permanent addition to my fridge. The flavor leaves too fast and the bitterness (while fading) was off putting.
Score 3/5

Score 14/25  I really don't know what to say about this beer other than i hope the next Okanagan Springs offering is a little better than the last two.
